Course Overview

This is a unique opprtunity to take part in a diploma course, structured to aid those who wish to further their knowledge and skills in Christian Counselling.

It is a 2-year course of 600 hours with 420 guided learning hours.

Students will research specific counselling approaches and write a paper to be presented in a workshop format to fellow students with demonstration, illustrative exercies, and interactive feedback.

Case Study Forum
Students will present case studies to a small group of fellow students for supervision, set within a wider group. This outer circle will in turn observe the inner group's supervision, expanding this into a dynamic groupwork exercise.

Current Issues in Counselling
The course will include one day workshops with specialist speakers, tutorial groupwork and projects, didactic sessions with trainers, and supervision.Students will use teaching from course trainers as well as their own literature and media research to explore, discuss and evaluate the current significant issues in the field of counselling at the time of the course.
