Practical Course in Pastoral Care

BCT also offers this training course for those who feel called into a caring or listening role within their church.  An open access course, it typically runs over three full days or seven evenings, and provides knowledge and skills that will benefit the carer, including insight into the root causes of problems people face in their lives and skills to help with compassion and understanding.  It is particularly useful for church leaders, pastoral workers, youth leaders and anyone with a ‘caring heart’.  The course is approved by the Association of Christian Counsellors.
